John Thomson - Proprietor and Senior Consultant
A true geek at heart, John knows how to simplify technology for the benefit of users.
He was awarded the SSEB (now Scottish Power) Cup for Electrical and Electronic Skills and the University of Abertay University Prize for the PgDip Course in Information Technology.
Micronas, Motorola and Sun Microsystems (now Oracle) are just some of the top international companies he has worked for before setting up allayit.
John has collaborated on various project throughout the years with other big names such as AVG and Microsoft.
He is a registered Incorporated Engineer (IEng), a Member of The British Computer Society (MBCS) and a Member of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (MIET).
As the founder and Chairman of Freuchie Flood Action Group, he works tirelessly with the flood victim community throughout Scotland and the UK on flooding matters.
